Cosmological Redshift and Cosmic Time Dilation in the FLRW Metric

چکیده

The paper shows that the commonly used Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) metric describing expanding Universe must be modified to properly predict cosmological redshift. It is proved change in frequency of redshifted photons always connected with time dilation, similarly as for gravitational Therefore, cosmic runs differently at high redshifts than present. Consequently, identified conformal and standard FLRW substituted by its version. correctness proposed convincingly confirmed Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) observations. produces essential discrepancy SNe observations called ‘supernova dimming’, dark energy has introduced comply theoretical predictions data. By contrast, fits data well no need introduce any new free parameter. Hence, discovery supernova dimming actually revealed a failure introducing was just an unsuccessful attempt cope problem within this false metric. Obviously, adopting evolution many fundamental consequences.

Distance-Redshift in Inhomogeneous FLRW

We give distance–redshift relations in terms of elliptic integrals for three different mass distributions of the Friedmann-Lemâitre-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) cosmology. These models are dynamically pressure free FLRW on large scales but, due to mass inhomogeneities, differ in their optical properties. They are the filled-beam model (standard FLRW), the empty-beam model (no mass density exists in ...

Plasma Redshift, Time Dilation, and Supernovas Ia

The measurements of the absolute magnitudes and redshifts of supernovas Ia show that conventional physics, which includes plasma redshift, fully explains the observed magnitude-redshift relation of the supernovas. The only parameter that is required is the Hubble constant, which in principle can be measured independently. The contemporary theory of the expansion of the universe (Big Bang) requi...

Cosmological Time Dilation in Gamma Ray Bursts?

Norris et al. (1994) report that the temporal structure of faint gamma ray bursts is longer than that of bright bursts, as expected for time dilation in the cosmological models of burst origin. I show that the observed trends can easily be produced by a burst luminosity function and thus may not result from cosmological effects. A cosmological signature may be present, but the tests Norris et a...

Time Delays in Cosmic Ray Propagation

Cosmic Rays (CR) travel at speeds essentially indistinguishable from the speed of light. However whilst travelling through magnetic fields, both regular and turbulent, they are delayed behind the light since they are usually charged particles and their paths are not linear. Those delays can be so long that they are an impediment to correctly identifying sources which may be variable in time. Fu...

The covariance of cosmic shear correlation functions and cosmological parameter estimates using redshift information

Cosmological weak lensing by the large scale structure of the Universe, cosmic shear, is coming of age as a powerful probe of the parameters describing the cosmological model and matter power spectrum. It complements Cosmic Microwave Background studies, by breaking degeneracies and providing a cross-check. Furthermore, upcoming cosmic shear surveys with photometric redshift information will ena...
